The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products. Our vision is for an industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and well-being of all Australians.
Dental Industry Statistics and Research —
The dental industry is facing opportunities and challenges from a marketplace that is increasingly complex. Being able to understand and monitor the key drivers of industry profitability is an important way to support effective decision making. To this end, ADIA provides its members with valuable statistics, research, and tools to better understand the market for dental products and services in Australia.
In recent years, ADIA's increased investment in data collection and analysis stems from the commitment made in the 2016-20 ADIA Strategic Plan to empower members to understand and benefit from changes to the environment in which dental products are manufactured and supplied. ADIA currently produces the following research:
Further, ADIA has also developed the ADIA Geospatial Dental Market Analysis Tool; a pioneering interactive analytical tool available exclusively to ADIA members that contains new insights into the changing nature of the market for dental products and services.

While most of ADIA's statistical reports and research are available free of charge to ADIA members, some are available for purchase by non-member individuals and organisations. With respect to the Association's work to compile statistics that review the adverse impact of red tape on Australia's dental industry, the team in the ADIA national office receive advice and guidance from members serving on the ADIA-MSPC Market Statistics Projects Committee.
