About the Survey —

To provide businesses across the dental industry with the information necessary to grow, create jobs, and operate sustainably the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) publishes the ADIA Australian Dental Products Business Conditions Survey. This survey enables low manufacturers and suppliers of quality dental products to better understand sentiment on current business conditions and future expectations

Undertaken on a quarterly basis, the survey’s results produce key indicators that assess the commercial environment in which Australia’s dental industry operates. The ADIA Australian Dental Products Business Conditions Survey is produced using feedback from the businesses that supply products to dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals. It reviews current business conditions and future expectations on a quarterly basis across a number of key indicators including:

• Dental product sales volumes
• Dental product selling prices
• Costs of manufacturing/importing product
• Administrative overhead costs
• Business wage costs
• Business workforce size

The ADIA Australian Dental Products Business Conditions Survey is a national survey that aggregates data provided by ADIA member businesses. It covers businesses of all sizes operating in every state/territory, and is Australia’s only specialised survey that targets the dental industry.
